Our Commitments
We recognize that science has historically been and continues to be an exclusionary space, particularly for those marginalized by race, class, language, and culture.
Therefore, in Science Teacher Circles, we commit to:
recognizing that we all bring cultural perspectives to phenomena;
being open to other’s ways of knowing, communicating, & relating to each other and the natural world;
foregrounding care, humility, & respect in our interactions;
kindly holding each other accountable to these commitments.
